ScanGear MP for Linux (called ScanGear below) is software (a scanner driver) that is necessary for scanning documents on this machine.
Please make sure to read the below file provided with this ScanGear.
The "X.XX" in the file name is the version number.

About this manual
This is the manual for the Linux version of ScanGear.
This manual uses the strings "MB5300" for model specific descriptions.
Please replace them with the string for your model.
Descriptions in this manual that depend on ScanGear version refers to the use of "3.40-x".
Please reinterpret it according to the ScanGear version you are using.
This manual uses the conventions shown below:
