If a problem occurs on the machine while the scanner is being used, the following message is displayed in the driver window.

Error in scanner.
Turn off scanner and follow instructions in User's Guide.
Scanner driver will be closed.

 

Perform the following operations:

Check that the machine and the computer are properly connected.

Uninstall ScanGear, and then re-install it.

Restart the computer, and reconnect the machine.

If the machine still does not recover, contact the support center or the service center, and request for a repair.
