ScanGear MP Ver.3.10 for Linux (called ScanGear below) is software (a scanner driver) that is necessary for scanning documents on this machine.

Use this software with the following system and system environment:

Fedora 20 (32 bit, 64 bit)

Ubuntu 14.10 (32 bit, 64 bit)

X Window System is required for either distribution.

About this manual

This is the manual for the Linux version of ScanGear.

This manual uses the strings "MB5300" for model specific descriptions.

Please replace them with the string for your model.
